On loan at FC Koln, Zoran Tosic has been impressing and last night the tiny Serbian helped his side to a 2-0 win over VFL Bochum.

For his first he raced clear rounded the keeper to slot in from an acute angle whilst the second saw him play a one two before slotting past the Bochum goalkeeper.

Tosic has been impressing in Germany and if he can keep up these performances he could still find himself in the plans at Old Trafford.

The result lifted Koln to 11th in the league.

He seems to be doing really well in Germany. The loan was a good move for him. His long-term future is unknown but he looks a good player. He may have struggled coming from Serbia to English football. Perhaps a short spell in Germany was what he needed. He might come back in pre-season really confident. Hopefully he goes to the World Cup. If he does well then I can see Ferguson bringing him back and not signing a winger. We can go into next season with Valencia, Nani, Obertan, Tosic and Park. It was a struggle this season but Nani has improved over the last few months. Valencia has settled in at Man Utd and doing well. Obertan looks like he has been doing some good gym work and is getting stronger. Tosic looks like he’s gained some experience and confidence in Germany. They’ve all made progress this season and next season they could have bigger impacts. It would allow us to focus our attention this summer on central midfield and possibly a new striker.
