Despite Jamie Carragher’s appeals, he was still boo’ed by the Liverpool fans who turned up for the event.

big shock, the small kop fans of englands 2nd club boo Owen. Is it me or has Owen simply outgrown the Liverpool kit as now he looks like a big name in a small shirt, but it’s not shocking as he has since played for 2nd biggest club Real Madrid and currently playing at the Theatre of Dreams for the worlds biggest club Manchester United.

Only some 35000(75% of full stadium) attended this testimonial..Thats a shame considering we had close to 70k for keano’s testimonial..Also giggsy’s in 2001 also had more than 65k in attendance..

your forgetting something, as ManUtd supporters, we care about our squad and legends unlike the Kop ‘supporters’ gloryhunters who dont give a damn about their legends or in Carraghers situation ‘legend’. Giggs and Keane are world class legends who deserve all they have achieved and have the respect of the football world and naturally got sell outs and we all know the next Ryan Giggs testimonial (I hear he will have another) we will sell out again, just like we will give the Scholes and Neville testimonials

Shut up u mank scum, nd u call us gloryhunters, ur players could never scratch the surface of carragher’s loyalty and passion to liverpool, just like gerrard, rush, keegan, dalglish, thompson, souness, neal, nd what about ur players, ronaldo, leaves 4 a better club, he could leave 4 brighton nd still b at a better club, van nistelrroy, left because of fergie, nd beckham. I was at the game, nd Michael did get booed, but eventually those boos turned to cheers and he greatly appreciated it, so get ur facts straight before u typically started mouthing off, nd Michael did this for a good cause, to help his mate, nd to return to his home, nd the club that made him!!! GO GLAZERS!!!! :p 😀

Go Glazers? You must have forgot about those 2 fellas Gillet and Hicks!

Nice of you to reel off that list but who in that list compares to the likes of Giggs, Neville, Scholes?

Sir Bobby, Best, Denis Law etc we’ve had great players too so I don’t get the point of that exercise!

  6. LFC till-i-die says:

Giggs, okay quality player, scholes = ginger nut yob, neville = big nosed, cocky chav who can’t play football to save his life, Sir Bobby, fair argument, but best was finished after 25, and now you’re players stay for money, not for the love of the club, carragher and gerrard are great role models for liverpool youngsters, local lads, playing football because they love it, not because their saving up 4 a new lamborghini, for example, wayne rooney, new 5 year contract, 200,000 a week for sitting on a bench!

of course$ carragher will be a role models for liverpool youngsters..his stupid challenge and clumsy tackle will be always be adored by the reds.. who cares of ronaldo leaving manutd..he had helped us to win the title and UCL trophy and he still a legend in our club..

And dalglish is twice the player that any of your millionaires, oh, sorry, players could be, rush was the most proliffic strikers in the game, phil thompson’s love for liverpool would extinguish any flickering flame any of you mancs can deliver.

It’s amazing Rush and his band performance, this is my third time and I’m still so excited about listening him live! On this page you can see the section where you’re buying the ticket, so it’s very recommended! Rush 2 get ’em!
