After the game of snakes and ladders that has been Owen Hargreaves Manchester United career, we have been offered a slight bit of hope as it has been announced that the midfielder will return to Manchester in 2 weeks.

Hargreaves has been in Colorado working with Dr Richard Steadman trying to solve the problems with his knees since it was announced at the start of the summer that he had suffered a relapse and although Sir Alex has stated he doesn’t know when he will make a playing return the fact he is returning to Old Trafford is an improvement in itself.

Sir Alex said,

“Owen is due back within the next two weeks. He seems to be making decent progress now. But if he comes back in two weeks when is he going to be fit to play for Manchester United? That is still to be found out.”

I have my doubts to whether Owen will ever be the same, such a wonderful talent ravaged by injury.
