Liverpool fans must be rubbing their hands with glee at the prospect of Peter Lim taking over their club.

The 8th richest man in Singapore worth an estimated $1.6Bn would look to buy the club all with his own money rather than have to borrow it.

Sounds great?

I wonder how much they’ll welcome him when they find out part of his empire is made up of 14 Manchester United themed bars and clubs across Asia and that’s how he got into the whole English football market?

So its either more Americans or an apparent United enthusiast?

Good luck!

Not being a Manc or Cessepool fan, I find this soooooo funny that Cessepool could be run by an apparent Manc Usa fan… lol

And wow, he’s also a Billionaire, well he is if you count it in $’s & not sterling £’s that is.. lol 🙂

This is completely inaccurate. The guy who is the massive United fan and owns the United bars is a guy called Denis Foo. Not Peter Lim.

Actualy if you want to knit pick CG, Lim ran the bars with FJ Benjamin they pulled out and he runs them by himself.

Didn’t say he was a supporter did I? Just that part of the money he will be using to buy Liverpool comes from United!
