Well we were always going to be surprised regardless of what team Sir Alex put out due to the injuries and illness that have held our team hostage but after today’s leaked information there was a bit more optimism and I for one am definitely looking forward to this.

On a side note Giggs misses his first Manchester derby in 19 years – would be great to get 3 points as a consolation.

Starting XI: VDS, Rafael, Vidic, Ferdinand, Evra, Fletcher, Carrick, Scholes, Nani, Park, Berbatov

Subs: Amos, Brown, Smalling, Hernandez, O’Shea, Obertan, Gibson

Oh dear Berbatov up front on his own.

We’ll dominate them in midfield… Hopefully our superior defense will be enough to stop their frint 3! Cos their crappy defense sure as hell won’t we good enough to stop nani berbs and park! 🙂

Pretty good starting 11. Apart of me wonders if we should’ve used only 4 midfielders (at the expense of Carrick) and brought in Hernandez whose pace could unsettle the likes of Toure. But Hernandez is a good option for a “supersub” and having both Carrick and Fletcher in midfield should give Scholes more room to operate and pick apart City’s tradionally clogged midfield.

Berba is naturally key as the lone striker, but Park will be huge if he keeps up his current form. SAF chose what I feel is our best defensive line which is encouraging.

Now I have to wait 6 hours to watch this!
