Prior to the game I intimated that this could be a frustrating game.

What actual purpose do Alex McLeish’s side serve? At home they can have the ability to make any game stagnant thus a team that looked ready to castrate Sunderland on Sunday looked ‘meh’ last night.

United weren’t at their best last night and whilst Birmingham and the way they set out and their outlook on the game in general is partly to blame we too can’t avoid any blame either.

Tiredness is definitely a factor, playing on Sunday nothing on Monday then a game on Tuesday will take it’s toll and towards the end of the game you could see Sir Alex signalling to the team to keep their heads up and not let anything slip unfortunately there isn’t much you can do when your option of doing so is taken from your hands.

In the interest of being a good sport I won’t go into one about Lee Mason and co, simply saying they f*cked up is enough, A potential foul, a blatant hand ball and two players in offside positions and the team of officials failed to pick up on one of those infringements? I guess Fergie still has refs on the pay roll and this is all part of a grand scheme to cover us in glory!

The lack of width was disappointing yesterday considering the middle of the park was like a motorway that had been closed down to one lane, how we could have used Nani or Valencia or even Obertan.

Wasn’t Rooney’s best performance whilst Berbatov continued in his fine goal scoring form, again the confidence is high and the goals are flowing I think we should all chip in and buy him an iPod pre loaded with applause and comments of adulation so he keeps this up.

Anderson wasn’t at his best either but I would put that down to tiredness rather than a ‘slip into old ways’ as I have seen it described!

So as 2010 draws to a conclussion we are still top. still undefeated but have a problem with away days? 2011 looks to be an interesting year!

Berbatov. He has been great all season, whereas Rooney hasn’t scored in open-play this season.

I guess Rooney’s the flop now. lol

One of the worst 5 minutes in my life. I was in an airport to find out my flight home was delayed. However, to my elation I was able to find a tv with the United game on at the 87th minute only to see that sad excuse for a goal 2 minutes later.
