This past Saturday, United’s u18s took on Wolves at Carrington in a thrilling 7 goal affair.

Wolves had hammered United 4-0 earlier in the season so they were a team to be weary of but an extremely late Sean McGinty goal saw United emerge victorious.

United opened the scoring through Larnell Cole before Wolves scored twice to take the lead. Luke Hendrie pulled us level but the helter skelter first half would see another goal apiece from each side and the teams went in to the break at 3-3.

The second half didn’t see as many goals but Wolves looked the more likely to score before United’s famous never say die attitude lead to Sean McGinty scoring from a Jesse Lingard cross in the 91st minute.
