With Manchester United continuing our unbeaten streak, there was a double celebration at Carrington with Sir Alex being named as manager of the month for January whilst Dimitar Berbatov was named player of the month.
In the 31 days, United played 5 games failing to take maximum points just once, in the away draw at White Heart Lane, whilst Berbatov carried on his hot streak with 5 goals including a hat trick against Birmingham and the goal that proved the winner in United’s fight back against Blackpool adding to the goal that started the fight back against the Tangerines.
