United continued their good form in the Manchester Senior Cup handing out another drubbing.

Last time around it was Bury who were on the end of an 8-0 thumping and this time Rochdale were given 6 of the best.

Josh King continued his good goal scoring form grabbing a hat trick and putting himself in Sir Alex’s thoughts for the cup game against Crawley. There was talk of Nottingham Forest wanting to take him on loan but the fact we decided to keep him and he keeps scoring when given the chance bodes well for the Norwegian.

There were also goals from Fabio, Robbie Brady and interestingly from the returning Ravel Morrison.

With all the noise surrounding his future at the club it is good to see him back playing well (he also had a hand in creating) and knuckling down.
