Robbie Brady is enjoying his time on loan at Hull.
Making 15 appearances at the KC stadium, he is getting a chance to improve playing above reserve level and feels it can be the springboard to bigger and better things.
The midfielder, surround by other United names like Corry Evans, Cameron Stewart, James Chester and Joe Dudgeon, joined the Tigers in August and feels that his time on the pitch is allowing him to show United what he has to offer,
“This season has been my best yet. I’m enjoying it and hopefully it can keep getting better.
“I get a lot of feedback from Manchester United. They come and watch me a lot on loan at Hull. I’ll go back in January and see what the story is. I’m not too sure if the loan will be extended at Hull because I think there are a couple more options.
“They want to bring me back in January to discuss a contract and we’ll see what the next move is then.”
“It has been brilliant for me being out on loan because I’m playing first-team football, but I want to go back in January and see what the club say about what happens next.
“I would love to push on and try to challenge for a place in the United squad. I got in a little last year, but the fact I’m playing regularly now should help.
“It would be a dream come true to play for United and that is what I want to do. The possibility of getting in and around the squad for the second half of the season would be fantastic.”
Loans have been the making of a number of our players with both Welbeck and Cleverley starring away from Old Trafford before making the jump to the first team this season.
And Brady, who was selected for the Carling Cup squad against Wolves last season, is clearly hoping to follow suit.
I never ever understood Joe Dudgeons sale to the Tigers.It made no sense at the time he was one of three players up for the player of the season award.It was a shock.

I’ve always liked United and think Sir Alex is a legend. He’s got it right about loans: they’re good for all involved. As a life long Hull City fan I’m delighted that we can get players like Robbie on loan and get the opportunity to buy one or two that you are willing to let go. In this way we have risen from the ashes of relegation and assembled a young skillful, enthusiastic team which includes an impressive sprinkling of Ex- United kids.. Sir Alex recognises that at City we look after the youngsters and do our best to help them develop. I wish the reds every success and hope to Hell they can overtake the billionaires in blue.

Note the class difference, in that comment rational and thought through, from the City or Liverpool supporters.That comment was worth reading and we might get a proper’ fans’ view on Joe Dudgeon, who I thought was a tiger at United.

Would hope to see Brady come in on a permanent in January. Good player but would be much easier for Manchester United to buy an established player in the same position than persist with such a raw player. Plus I wouldn’t expect Robbie to be ousting Nani or Ashley Young any time soon. Would probably work out best for all parties involved to allow him on loan for a longer loan period or to leave on a permanent at some point in the near future.

As a hull fan I’ve really liked what I’ve seen from Brady, however his form recently has dropped and his end product has often been missing. Having said that I’d take the lad full time in January as there is a premiership clad player in there somewhere, top 4 premiership class? I’m afraid I don’t think he’s anywhere near.
Another Tigers fan here. Robbie has been magnificent for us this season. It’s true his form has dipped of late but it is easy to forget he is still a very young lad who is experiencing his first taste of regular professional football. He was never likely to go the whole season without a dip and I am certain he will come back even stronger. I would love us to sign him permanently but realistically there is no chance. However, with the players United currently have in his position ahead of him I would hope an extension to the end of the season was in everybody’s interests.
