Manchester United’s Patrice Evra believes his side can reclaim the Premier League title from their city niegbours if they are consistent in their form next season.

The France international reckons the Red Devils can draw inspiration from the 89 points amassed since their performance was criticised and Manchester City played their best football to win the title for the first time in 44 years.

Evra said:

“We have given the title to City, but if we play well from the beginning to end, we will win the title back easily. We received a lot of criticism this season, but we have got nine points better than last season.

“City played their best football and we didn’t always play our best football, but we still finished on the same points. So it makes you think that if we play our best football consistently throughout the season, then we are going to win the league by many points.”

evra seems that he didnt learn anything from this season,,, talk is so cheap,,,and he is only talking and talking ,,,and on the field nothing ,he should save his energy for the pitch,,,at least someone should have told him that he was nothing special most of the season

Winning the league is not easy. I think too many of our players are to relax and that is why we threw an 8 point lead away. Evra shouldn’t say we will win the league easily, if we were that strong we wouldn’t have let the lead slip in the first place. He should focus on improving his form a bit because it wasn’t his best season.

I think Ferguson should sign another left back to challenge Evra next season. We should make a £4-5 million bid for Emilio Izaguirre from Celtic to see if he can be bought. He had a bad injury last season, but returned from injury. In hi first season he was Scottish player of the year.
