Nani may have sealed his fate after The Daily Mail reported the winger had a bust up with Italian youngster Davide Petrucci in training.

Nani has been having a tough time on and off the pitch lately, and with a new contract no closer to being signed and United apparently willing to listen to offers, his latest actions aren’t the smartest.

Last weekend Nani was dragged off at half time following a dreary first half performance at Anfield, and now with this latest rumour it could spell the end of his time at the club.

The Mail claim that during a training session, things heated up between Nani and the youngster following a challenge. Later on in the gym Nani is said to have called Petrucci over with most expecting the two to bury the hatchet, but instead Nani is said to have aimed a punch at the u21 player prompting team mates to rush over and separate the two.

This is the latest blot on Nani’s ledger and you just have to wonder how much time he has left to change the club’s mind about his future if they are indeed set on letting him go.

Nani should be given some time he shouldn’t be sold just like that. But i don’t believe its de tackle that made nani to punch dave maybe de guy said something to him.The lads should learn how to respect their elders despite being in the same dressing room

Sell him for £20 million. I think clubs in Italy will be interested. The guy is a waste of space at Man Utd and his performance against Liverpool is one of the worse I’ve ever seen. He is now causing trouble with the young players. He isn’t worth the trouble. I would much rather see Robbie Brady playing in the first team ahead of Nani.

I think we should offer Juventus £20 million + Nani for Arturo Vidal. People might think I’m crazy but Vidal is excellent and Ferguson messed up not signing him from Leverkusen a year ago. I don’t know if Juventus would reject the money and Nani, even though he is there main player.

although I’m not trying to suggest petrucci is in the latter’s league, this incident is very reminiscient of the van nistelrooy-ronaldo saga in the 05-06 season.

I would be reluctant to let him go but if he is proving to be a toxic attitude within the team he has to go.
