Having continually been linked with a move to Manchester United, Porto’s James Rodriguez has quashed the notion of him leaving the Portuguese club stating it would be to early in his career.

The 21 year old has been watched by Manchester United a number of times with some claiming the Columbian may be sought as a replacement for Nani.

Sir Alex has previously said that a move is unlikely as Porto demand exorbitant fees for their players, but that hasn’t stopped United from continuing to monitor the attacker but a possible move has hit the bricks as the player himself has declared his reluctance to leave.

Speaking to Top Mercato, Rodriguez is quoted as saying:

“I hear many things, but I am under contract at Porto and my only goal is to do my best for them.

“I am living in the present and I am not thinking of leaving.

“It’s still too early to consider it.”

No doubt he will stay with FC Porto until the end of the season. He is a quality player.

I think Man Utd will be interested possibly in the summer. However I sense he will end up at Real Madrid when they fail to get Gareth Bale.
