According to the press in Portugal, Manchester United have been keeping an eye on the brother of former Fulham striker Collins John.

According to A Bola, 20 year old winger Ola John was watched by Martin Ferguson on Wednesday as Benfica drew with Barcelona in the Champions League.

The young Dutch winger earned a move to Portugal off the back of a strong showing for FC Twente in a season where he scored 9 and created 22 goals.

Whilst he hasn’t exactly shone for Benfica so far, the fact that the winger is young, won’t cost an exorbitant fee and can play on both flanks makes him a viable United transfer target.

John also expressed an interest in playing in England previously, saying his brother has given him positive reviews of the Premier League:

“I first want to do everything I can to make FC Twente champions again. Then I’ll know the time is right to switch to a big English club. Through my brother Collins, I know how beautiful it is to play in the Premier League.”

It’s derby day! Which of these memorable moments is your favourite?
