Sir Alex Says No To Zaha

This week’s papers have been filled with speculation surrounding a Manchester United move for Crystal Palace starlet Wilfried Zaha.

The 20 year old has been impressing in the Championship and many expect Manchester United to swoop for the winger this month, but Sir Alex has shot down those rumours as well as claims Manchester United will move for the soon out of contract Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole.

When asked about the possibility of signing Zaha at his press conference this morning, Sir Alex simply replied:

“There’s nothing to report!

“It’s January, what can I say? I know you’re desperate for a story but there’s no story.

“I’ve got nothing to tell you.”

Sir Alex is notoriously known for keeping his cards close to his chest, so this may just be a tactic to throw the press and other club’s rivalling United for Zaha’s signature off the scent.
