Marouane Fellaini
Marouane Fellaini has admitted that he rejected a move to Arsenal in favour of Manchester United this summer.

The 25 year old was linked with moves to Stamford Bridge and the Emirates before completing a deadline day deal move to Old Trafford, and whilst he was quiet on whether Chelsea were interested in him, he confirmed Arsenal’s approach.

Speaking to sports channel beIN, the Belgian said:

“Chelsea? No comment.

“It’s true with Arsenal, they were interested, but Manchester United convinced me to sign with them.”

Fellaini is still trying to find his feet at United, although some have passed judgement on him after just 7 appearances and lack of a pre season.

The £27.5m signing has sat out United’s last 2 games after appearing in the 1-1 draw with Southampton but is likely to reappear in tomorrow’s Capital One Cup tie against Norwich.
