Tonight as Atletico Madrid faced Porto a certain David Moyes was in attendance, casting an eye over proceedings.

Whilst the general consensus is that we were looking at Koke, could Moyes have been in Spain watching someone else or even someone as well as Koke.

United have long been linked with Koke and with his buyout clause having been confirmed at €24m it would be crazy for United not to be interested in the young Spaniard but there are a few other players that were on the field that United have been linked with.

United have been heavily linked with a number of Porto’s stars recently, and Moyes will have got a first hand showing as all of them were on display last night.

Working from the back United have been linked with Eliaquim Mangala, Alex Sandro, Fernando, Steven Defour and although not this season, Jackson Martinez.

A United move for Koke has been mooted but so has a move for all of these players. Personally I think given our circumstances it is likely that Moyes also had an eye on Fernando.

The Brazilian midfielder, nicknamed ‘The Octopus’, could leave Portugal this summer when his contract expires so United may be able to strike a deal for him, especially with Porto’s departure from the Champions League.

It would be great to snap up Koke and the move may be a reality given the strength of Barca’s midfield and the rivalry between Atletico and Real but I think its unlikely, given Atletico’s position in La Liga and it being a World Cup year, that the 21 year old would switch to United in January.

Believe it or not aston villa will create problem to united. This team has causes problem for us before. Luckly we win in last minute score or draw.remember macheda late goal, vidic equaliser and chicharito last minutes goal past year. We must not take that team for granted they got wonderful striker benteke and many more…

As for united we have lost with team like stoke, newcastle, everton draw with cardiff, southampton.

    D.moyes should be careful.
