Borussia Mönchengladbach vs FC Bayern München Fussball 1 Bundesliga 24 01 2014 Toni Kro
The agent of Toni Kroos has dashed Manchester United’s hopes of signing the midfielder this summer by claiming that the midfielder will remain in Germany until at least 2015.

With Kroos’ deal running into it’s final year and the German international yet to agree a new deal, he has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer. Rumours were further fuelled when Moyes was pictured with the midfielder’s agent earlier this season.

Yesterday The Daily Mirror claimed the 24 year old had told Bayern team mates that he wanted to join United this summer, but his agent’s claims mean the paper has likely been fed false information.

German paper Bild, whilst tearing down The Mirror, printed quotes from Kroos’ agent Volker Struth who said:

“We have seen a number of different rumours for the past few months, but we will continue not commenting on them. But at the moment I believe that Toni will stay in Bavaria until at least 2015.”

Struth’s comments appear in line with the comments coming out of Bayern, where a number of people high up in the club’s hierarchy have asserted that Kroos won’t be sold this summer, and that the club won’t be bullied into selling him.
