David Moyes has his eye on Luke Shaw

News of a potential Luke Shaw move to Manchester United gather pace last night with The Telegraph and The Daily Mail claiming United were ready to spend £30m to bring him to Old Trafford.

The 18 year old has been a revelation for the south coast club this season and whilst they are under no pressure to sell, such a big offer isn’t be sniffed at.

Shaw was believed to favour a move to Chelsea, the team he supports, but both papers claim he has fears over playing time at Stamford Bridge so United are at the head of the queue for his signature.

Late last night Shaw was sent this tweet by a fan:

And he subsequently favourited it. It wouldn’t be the first time where a player’s twitter activity has offered clues as to their future. And Shaw himself recently began following Phil Neville but it is safe to say that, whilst the deal may still go ahead, this is nothing to write home about.
