Shinji Kagawa got on the scoresheet last night as Japan edged Zambia in an entertaining game in Tampa.

It took a last minute goal fromĀ Yoshito Okubo to give Japan the victory after a brace fromĀ Keisuke Honda and Kagawa’s goal were neutralised by Katongo, Sinkala and Musonda.

With Japan trailing 2-1, Kagawa swung a shot in from the left and whilst the keeper should have done better, the run of Honda did just enough to put him off, allowing Kagawa to bring his side level.

Kagawa then set up Honda’s second to give Japan the lead, only for Musonda to equalise in the 89th minute.
