Barcelona could miss out on millions, after Alexis Sanchez reportedly rejected a move to Manchester United in favour of a move to Juventus.

United were keen on Sanchez prior to his move to the Nou Camp and reportedly revived revived their interest this summer upon hearing that the forward would be surplus to requirements under new boss Luis Enrique, despite scoring 21 goals and filling in when Messi was absent.

Joining Barcelona for £23m in 2011, the Catalan club are reportedly seeking a fee of £20m for the Chilean star, a figure United were reportedly willing to meet, but Sanchez has rejected a move to England in favour of linking up with national teammate Arturo Vidal in Turin.

Tuttosport claim the Serie A champions were initially only willing to pay £12-14m but will go as high as £16m, still shy of the £20m United were willing to pay.

But the fee is irrelevant as the player has apparently made his mind up already with Tuttosport also claiming that the 25 year old has no interest in living in England, and is also put off by the fact United can not offer European football.
