Hernandez Inter Milan

It has been widely reported that Javier Hernandez will leave Old Trafford this summer in the hunt for regular first team football.

A number of clubs are expected to be interested in the Mexican’s services including Tottenham and Atletico Madrid; however a front runner in the race for his signature appears to be Italian giants Inter Milan.

Portuguese newspaper A Bola has recently reported that Hernandez is aware of interest in his services from an Italian club and thanks them. The Mexican hitman went on to admit that Inter are a “great team”, in an interview with Corriero dello Sport

Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport has recently uploaded a video to Gazzetta TV showing a warm embrace between Hernandez and Inter Milan club legend Javier Zanetti following the pre-season match between the two sides.

Zanetti appeared to be waiting for Hernandez after the final whistle.

This video comes a week after former United captain and Inter Milan new boy Nemanja Vidic suggesting Hernandez should follow him to Italy.

New United boss Louis Van Gaal is believed to be willing to let Hernandez leave Old Trafford as he continues his rebuilding programme and could command a fee in the region of £20m for the striker.
