It is becoming more and more apparent that Radamel Falcao’s future with Manchester United could very well be linked with that of fellow teammate, David De Gea.

According to reports, both De Gea and Falcao possess the same agent, and that agent, Jorge Mendes, wants the two players to be a packaged deal of sorts.

Despite just four goals this season for United, highlighted by a current goalless streak that dates back to January 31, Falcao is insistent that he wants to continue to suit up at Old Trafford next season.

Falcao has not played Champions League football since 2010 and is thirsty for another chance to play on the biggest stage.

With United looking like they will qualify for the Champions League, unless they self-destruct with less than a month of football left, Falcao is anxious to stay with the club and play in next year’s Champions League competition with the United.

De Gea is considering weather to stay or leave Old Trafford this summer. Mendes represents both De Gea and Falcao and would like both to be on the Red Devil roster next year if De Gea elects to stay.

This may not be music to Louis Van Gaal’s ears, as he has expressed his displeasure with the lack of productivity from Falcao all season.

However, United desperately want to keep De Gea as their goal-stopper and may have to allow Falcao to tag along, even though they have been equally desperate to dump Falcao.
