Real Madrid fans are growing increasingly impatient with their wingman, Gareth Bale.

After a lackluster performance on Wednesday night in the Champions League semi-final against Juventus in which fans were left wondering if Bale even suited up, the transfer rumours regarding the 25-year-old’s future reached new heights.

The Wales international star has endured an amazing amount of criticism all year long, yet continues to insist that he has no desire to leave the BernabĂ©u this summer, despite Manchester United’s consistent showing of interest.

Indeed, United have been after Bale for years now. The talented winger surprisingly declined United’s offer a few summers ago and instead elected to take less money to play with Real.

Despite being blown off by Bale that summer, the Red Devils have refused to give up on bringing the former Tottenham Hotspur back to the Premier League.

United are considered to be the most desperate to aquire Bale, but the player refuses to give in to public criticism in Spain.

It appears that Bale will stick it out with Madrid for one more season. His agent has said that Bale is, “100 per cent” focused on staying with Real Madrid and has no interest in leaving after this year’s disappointing season.

However, if Bale produces yet another mediocre stat line in next year’s campaign, the public demand for Bale to leave may force him out the door.

And if that happens, you can bet United will be right there looking to sign him.
