OK, so the title is slightly misleading but hey it’s Eric Cantona so why not!
Sir Alex presented ‘The King’ with the Legend of Football Award at the annual Football Extravaganza last night.
The award has previously been won by Sir Stanley Matthews, Sir Bobby Robson, Sir Bobby Charlton and Sir Alex himself so Eric is in some very special company.
The event was attended by past United stars Peter Schmeichel and Steve Bruce as well as current legend Ryan Giggs and also celebrity United fans Eamonn Holmes and Mick Hucknall.
