    He took his goal fantastically and really looks a good prospect. His record for Mexico is excellent and he has had a good World Cup. He got 2 goals and against good teams in France and Argentina. He will need time to adapt in Manchester, but alongside Rooney, Berbatov and Owen we should have good firepower next season. I don’t think he should play upfront by himself though. He will do better alongside Rooney or Berbatov.

    Why not be excited? It’s one thing if there was only his experience in the Mexican league, but he’s impressed on the biggest stage there is. He’s not a teenager either so he should be able to be a starter and prove his worth. Great skill, pace and poise and I can’t wait to see him playing for us.

    *I also hope SAF plays him with United come through Toronto. It will be exciting to see him right before his career takes off.
