Man United’s on loan striker bagged an impressive hatrick as Blackburn Rovers beat Norwich City 3 – 0 in the Carling Cup second round. Diouf put in a clinical display as he grabbed his first goals for the North West club. The Senegalese international showed his threat in the air as he headed two goals whilst poking in from a yard out with his second.

United already have a vast amount of quality strikers at the club, but the news that Diouf is scoring at Rovers will be an added boost.

    Nice. This lad has got amazing potential. He’s fast, powerful, good aerially, and a good finisher. I hope to see more goals from him during the course of the season.

    Way to go Diouf! Though I’ve felt he’s needed to polish his game up, I do appreciate his talent and hope we welcome him back improved in that area. He has a lot of natural ability and hope he thrives this year with Blackburn.
