Arsenal beating a lacklustre Chelsea last night, provided a timely reminder that the league is still very competitive and City too tried to throw their names in amongst the big boys by crushin Villa 4-0.

Today Giggs spoke of guarding against complacency and we will definitely need to be vigilant tonight against a well set up Birmingham side. They don’t score many home goals but are also hard to breach so they may provide plenty of resistance.

First XI: VDS; Rafael, Evra, Vidic, Ferdinand; Giggs, Gibson, Carrick, Anderson; Rooney, Berbatov

Subs: PIG, Neville, Evans, Fletcher, Obertan, Macheda, Hernandez
