Ahead of the Chelsea game there is no weakened team as some expected.
After his ever impressive cameo against Marseille, Paul Scholes steps in for Gibson whilst Hernandez plays in place of Dimitar Berbatov. John O’Shea continues at right back with Rafael again on the bench whilst Josh King could make his league début as he has been handed a place on the bench.
Starting XI: VDS, JOS, Smalling, Vidic, Evra, Fletcher, Carrick, Scholes, Nani, Rooney, Hernández
Subs: Brown, Berbatov, Fábio, Rafael, Gibson, Kuszczak, King
