I guess someone forgot to tell these people who Nemanja Vidic is.

The Serbian defender has been in remarkable form this season and again showed on Saturday against Wigan why he is being so highly praised this season.

But there is always one name that has to be brought up when discussing Vidic, Fernando Torres.

The striker is often spoken of as Vidic’s boogeyman but as we face Chelsea on Tuesday, Vidic has brushed him off as an inconvenience, the same as any other striker:

“Sometimes you read people saying that certain players have a hard job to play against someone else.

“Obviously, this is the opinion some people have [about me and Torres], because they always mention it.

“I don’t have a problem with that. I can only change it on the pitch, not by saying what I think in the media. It actually just makes me more focused to do my job.”

The whole Torres/Vidic thing is a rather annoying sub plot to any game they come up against each other in and whilst Torres has scored against United, people neglect to mention that there have been occasions where he hasn’t been particularly impressive so it’s good to know that Vidic isn’t worrying about it.

Barring the mistakes in the 4-1 loss vida has been pretty much flawless against ladyboy..But just like the ‘nani is inconsistent’ and the united still have a ‘problem at right back position’ crap, this nonsense won’t die down..Let the dogs bark, lets see who has the last laugh..
