According to The Daily Mail Manchester United have agreed a first option deal for 16 year old Chilean striker .

Having impressed in the South American Under 17 Championship in Ecuador with 3 goals, United swooped to agree a first option deal with Henriquez’s club Universidad de Chile.

Henriquez came on trial to United with another Chilean player in 2009 and apparently we have agreed a deal to sign him before 2014.

Speaking to Triunfo, Henriquez said:

‘Of course it is amazing that a team like Manchester United have taken an interest in me. They are a huge team at a world level and playing for them would be a dream come true.

‘For now I am only thinking about my club, making my debut and performing; because Manchester United have told me that I have to start getting experience to make the move to England.’
