Despite all the furore surrounding Wayne Rooney off pitch, there is no denying his quality on field.

Against West Ham earlier this month his swearing on camera diverted attention away from the fact that in the game, the striker had scored his 100th (and 101st) league goals in United’s colours.

Amongst the 100 there have been some real special goals, the one that springs to mind immediately is the overhead kick against City but who can forget the volley against Newcastle? Or the counter attacking goals against Arsenal or Bolton?
