It’s often been said that you have to be a tad crazy to be a goalkeeper.
There have been a long history of barmy keepers but I think Jimmy Fontana of Novara is well up there.
Following his team’s promotion to Serie A after beating Padova in the playoff final Fontana absolutely lost it, as you would. I’m not sure who the bald man is but after his display of affection Fontana has ensured that he has a place in football video history forever.
I expect he was the first player to be tested after the match!
