PICTURE: Stretford End Flags unveil mosaic for Scholes’ testimonial

Having designed the mosaics for Gary Neville’s testimonial as well as United’s game against Barcelona in the Champions League final, Stretford End Flags have again been called upon to mark a momentous United occasion.

Paul Scholes sought out the group to design something for his testimonial tomorrow against the New York Cosmos and after ideas flooded in from their forum as well as supporters they came up with this.

Ever the gentleman, Scholes’ response was “Genius, where has that come from!?” but I’m sure nobody will dispute him being called such.

The mosaic will cover the north stand lower and SEF are looking for volunteers to help set it up so if you’re free go down and lend a hand!
