Following his ‘cameo’ against Wolves, United fans have been waiting to see Ravel Morrison turn out for the first team.

3-0 up against Aldershot he got that chance and didn’t disappoint with a promising performance.

What I liked was how he worked for the team, on the flank an interchange between him and Fabio resulted in an Aldershot break and he ran the length of the pitch to pressure the defender.

This was as United sat 3-0 up with minutes to go.

He always tried to get on the ball, constantly moving around and making himself available and he showed a confidence in himself as well as he tried to get in ahead of Dimitar Berbatov to take a frekick as well as going on a run at the game’s death.

Hopefully he can start turning out for the reserves regularly and make then step up to the first team.

To right Morrison didn’t disappoint! He could seriously be our ‘Silva’. Gets involved, clever passes, always involved. Tbh his passing was that clever that at times other players weren’t expecting. Would love to see him play with Rooney. Pogba on the other hand showed glimpses but seemed too negative at times. Was crying out for him to stretch those legs!

Pogba seems nervous.. but morrison jus got involved straight away. both showed glimpses of their potential. Morrison might be our silva..havta agree on that Gaz..but its still a bit early too say that.
Glad to see Cleverly back tho!
