Sir Alex is set to ring the changes for tomorrow’s visit from Crystal Palace.

United take on Crystal Palace in the Carling Cup quarter final and it allows him the chance to give some of the younger players as well as those returning from injury a run out.

United have used the Carling Cup to showcase some of the burgeoning talent in our ranks in previous rounds and against Crystal Palace Sir Alex is set to do the same.

The likes of Zeki Fryers, Ravel Morrison, Paul Pogba, Michael and Will Keane  and Larnell Cole will all be hoping to get some game time and Sir Alex is ready to call upon any youngster that is needed,

“There will be a complete change. Chris Smalling has come back and I may be able to play him. He’s still young and it’ll be a young squad against Palace.

“The only area where I’ve got problems is the centre of midfield. It’s possible I could play Pogba there but I’ve got enough players to choose from.

“Ravel Morrison was in the squad for last week’s game against Benfica.

“He’s a very, very talented boy and he’ll possibly be on the bench, at least, in midweek.”

I just dont understand the managers comments regards Paul Pogba. On the one hand he talks of it not being necessary to purchase another midfielder, like Wesley Sneijder (which I agree with). As this will inhibit the progress of the likes of Paul and others at United.
Then he his sending a mixed message, implying he does not need to pick him tommorow night against Palace. This leads me to believe there is something, whatever that may be, bubbling below the surface. That none of us are aware of!
Lets hope however we do get the opportunity tommorow evening to see some of the youngsters actually on the football park. One of my favourites Larnell Cole would be excellent.
It all augurs well for the future at United.

I agree with you that there is something brewing behind the scenes. But whatever that is ,all i know is that Pogba was not the reason why we didn’t sign sneidjer but because the glazers could not commit to spending up to 80 million in one transfer window and fergie really wanted him.Pogba is the next big thing and we need to play him more. What harm could it do considering we are already playing like headless chicken and still winning.

Hi mate, sorry for so long in getting back to you!
We agree on Paul, I see.’Hopefully’ see him tonight in the Cup.
I think if Sir Alex was seriously interested in Wesley Sneijder, he would have moved for him, when he was availiable from Real Madrid for 15 Million Euros. Not leave it till now. The player 2 years older and estimated cost £40 Million, with a 5 year contract at Milan till the summer of 2015.Champions league, tied.
He has almost zero sell on value if we were to buy him say on a similar contract he is on at Inter Milan. Also out with the Eredivise in truth(Netherlands team aside)his goal scoring record is not that brilliant.Roughly one goal every 6 games. His assists are good however, similar, to Nani’s.
I think I am correct, that Wesley Sneijder so far this season in Serie A,has been subbed 6 times.Dont hold me to that though, but I thinks its accurate. Would you be ‘pulling off'(lol) your best player.I know its not our money mate, however as you know, the Glazer want value for money. With our policy as David Gill said “Sir alex is planning a young team for the future”<—-Paraphrased!.Planning for his successor.Sneijder does not fit that profile. In my opinion.
Hope you enjoy the game later today and we get a great win against the Eagles.
        Then draw Cardiff.Fingers crossed.

Hi mate, yes i think you are right regards James, he is talented although he has some serious competition in the midfield as you know.In the shape of the younger Ryan Tunnicliffe, who is gathering great reviews at Peterboro under the care of the bosses son, Darren, who rates him (Ryan) highly.
However, lets hope many of the lads get a showing tonight Aadescholes.I am begining to sound like the oracle lol.Which I am not, very shy,in truth.
      Cmon United tonight.Cmon you Reds.

I just feel you are the authentic source besides the club website. Your articles are great read and I hope you continue the same. And I also would like you to give your opinion on Ollie Norwood. That guy can really hit freekicks like that of Beckham. What say?
