Having failed to break into the first team, Mame Biram Diouf left Manchester United in January to join German side Hannover.

The striker, who joined from Molde in 2009, struggled for playing time here instead going out on loan to Blackburn as well as playing in the reserves.

But he appears to be settling in well at Hannover and in their win over Stuttgart at the weekend opened his account at his new club with a header to make it 2-0.

The game also saw former United reserve keeper Ron Robert Zieler between the sticks for Hannover.

Hannover would go on to win the game 4-2.

Good luck to Diouf at his new club!

Well in Mame.He probably has found his level as a football player.
No player at Manchester United is ‘s****’.You just have to be that bit extra special with many qualities more than football ability.
I acknowledged it previously once you have played for United, you will carve out a career elsewhere.
    Good luck, Mame.

Wenger buys players who are only good on the ball and make nice youtube videos for fans…Sir Alex looks for ability and never-say-die spirit..players who can dig in and fight back…Utd rejects are still good enough to be stars at their respective clubs and regular starters eg- Shawcross, Pique,Kieran Richardson, Eblake in recent times…Oh yeah….Phil Neville.. while Arsenal rejects are unfulfilled potentials who could have made it big
