Liverpool crashed out of the NextGen competition earlier this week, getting hammered 6-0 by Ajax.

Central to Ajax’s win was apparent United target . The 17 year old scored twice against Barcelona in the quarter finals and was on hand to hit a hat trick past a decent Liverpool side in the semi finals.

The young Dane has been linked with United this season, like country man , and if United are interested he did his chances no harm as he played a part in 5 of Ajax’s 6 goals.

    He won’t leave Ajax until he has played at least 1 or 2 season in the first team. I also don’t believe the player we need is another youngster. We need someone in their 20′s and with some experience. We have Cleverley and Pogba now in the first team squad. We need one player who is a little bit special and different.
