The title race has taken on added importance this season.

With Manchester United and Man City battling it out, it’s made for tense times in the city as both teams vye to become champions at the expense of their rivals.

The mind games have kicked off already with Patrick Vieira throwing barbs, and Sir Alex firing back. But where it matters, on the pitch, it is advantage United as we have pulled 3 points clear at the top of the table.

United will hope to maintain their lead ahead of the title decider on April 30th at the Etihad, and if United can come through that unscathed then it is likely that United will secure their 20th title, something that will delight Chris Smalling especially as he looks to deny the blue part of Manchester any title celebrations for at least another season:

“It definitely means more because it’s City.

“It’s down to us two now and it’s massive.

“The media build it up and as players we definitely want to win it because we know quite a few of their players.

“It’s going to be crucial to get those bragging rights for next year.”
