Seems like today is a day for social media!

After Dimitar Berbatov went on Facebook to denounce rumours of his departure as lies, Wayne Rooney has signed in to Twitter to dispel rumours about his future.

A number of tabloids have been running stories claiming he is on his way out of the club after being named as a sub in Saturday’s win over Fulham, some journalists have also claimed his relationship with Sir Alex is on the rocks but the striker has ruled out leaving Manchester United this evening, claiming he is ‘here to stay’.

    Rooney may say he is not going anywhere as did beckham before he went to Madrid for 25M. It’s not up to the player it’s up to the manager. Has ferguson said Rooney isn’t going? No is the answer!!
