Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that he would like to take over at Old Trafford in the future, but at the moment isĀ concentratingĀ on managing Molde.

Solskjaer is a fan favourite at Old Trafford after spending 11 years in Manchester, and is fondly remembered for scoring the winner in the 1999 Champions League amongst other things.

After hanging up his boots he helped coach United’s strikers before taking over the reserves in 2008, a position he relinquished in 2010 after winning the reserve league as well as numerous cups. Returning to Norway to manage former club Molde, Solskjaer has enjoyed success winning the league in his debut season and looks on course to repeat the feat this season too s Molde top the league with 2 games to go.

His success in Norway has alerted him to a number of clubs in England and he has already turned down offers from Blackburn and Aston Villa but speaking to The Sun, Solskjaer has confirmed that he would be interested in managing another of his former clubs.

“I’m not naive enough to say I can do that job but in life you should have big dreams and big goals.

“It’s a dream but let’s take just one step at a time. I want to become a manager in England.

“At the moment I’ve just started and it’s been two years more or less in Norway, so the time will come.

“I’ve spoken to clubs and explained it’s a bit early as I want to learn and don’t want to jump too big a bridge at the start.”

I always wanted solskjaer as united manager just 2 or 3 year more. He is doing a great job in molde giving them the second league title. That a big sign of a great manager.
