Whilst the Man City game came too early for him, Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that Nemanja Vidic will be back for Manchester United’s game against Sunderland.
Vidic has been out since September after undergoing surgery on a torn meniscus in his knee, but it was thought the Serb would be back for United’s final Champions League tie against Cluj. Unfortunately the defender declared himself unready for the game thus meaning he missed out on Sunday’s derby.
Sir Alex claimed that Vidic wouldn’t have been thrown in at the deep end against the Premier League champions anyway, but now his captain is fully fit and raring to get his season underway albeit a couple of months late:
“It would have been crazy to play him against City, but against Sunderland – definitely. It’s a big bonus.
“In the last 18 months he has only had ten games or something – it is not many games that he has had.
“He is a battler, a real competitor. That uncompromising way of his … he likes defending, that’s what it is.”

Its great to have him back but we must continue with Ferdinand and Evans. We cannot mess around, especially not in defence. If we play properly and get control of the match then maybe bring Vidic off the bench. Sunderland is not an easy game, in fact there are no easy games. We must learn from last season and not get complacent.

That good new for united fan and hope we beat sunderland and far away like dormund does and win the title because city now will concentrate on the title only after being knock out in champion league.

When the january transfer window will open i hope sir alex buy 3 more defender 1 central defender,2 central midfielder because we will need central midfielder because on that position we get to many injuries and we want to win champion league and the league title so we will midfielder to beat the best european team like real madrid,barcelona ,dormund,bayern munich and as for central defender it good to have a replace for rio ferdinand in defence
