With another comeback secured against Newcastle on Wednesday, Sunderland’s Carlos Cuellar has compared match winner Javier Hernandez to Real Madrid legend Raul.
Hernandez struck at the game’s death to ensure a 4-3 win for United and moved the league leaders 7 points clear of rivals City.
Hernandez now has 10 goals, and with another crucial goal for United this season, Cuellar has hailed the Mexican’s intelligence likening him to Raul.
Speaking to El Pais, Cuellar said of Chicharito:
“He’s smart, moves very well in the area.
“In this sense he is like Raul. He gets all rebounds and known to be in the right place.
“He is the main protaganist in United’s comebacks.
“Fans admire him a lot. Ferguson has said more than once that it hurts/pains him to not start him more often.”
