With the team in Qatar for a quick break before continuing their assault on 3 fronts, Sir Alex remained in the UK to run the rule over some transfer targets.
It is believed a meeting in a London hotel was enough to secure the signature of Crystal Palace’s starlet Wilfried Zaha, and tonight Sir Alex was at Celtic Park to watch over Kenyan midfielder Victor Wanyama.
Wanyama has long been thought of as a United target, and tonight with Sir Alex in attendance for Celtic’s 4-0 win over Dundee, he managed to get himself on the scoresheet!
