Wilfried Zaha speeds past Robert Huth

It appears that Wilfried Zaha is on his way to Manchester United, with reports suggesting that the 20 year old is to undergo a medical in the next 48 hours.

The transfer, one of football’s worst kept secrets, has been dragging on for weeks now but appeared to be in motion when it was revealed that Sir Alex Ferguson met Zaha in a London hotel on Sunday following the draw with Tottenham.

Various media outlets believed the transfer would be completed yesterday, but no announcement was made. But today both BBC Sport and Sky Sports News are reporting that Zaha will head to Bridgewater for a medical.

Whilst nothing has been confirmed by either party, it is believed that the details of the deal state Zaha will sign for 5 and a half years, United will pay £10m up front with add-ons taking it up to £15m depending on appearances and success at Old Trafford.

The deal also includes a clause that will see United loan the England international back to the London side for the remainder of the season.
