Manchester United striker Bebe is hoping for a future at Old Trafford after United scouts were in Portugal at the weekend to see him score a brace in Paco De Ferreira’s 3-1 win over Arouca.

The striker has scored 9 goals in 31 appearances for the Portuguese strugglers and is hoping that he will be able to forces his way David Moyes’ plans even if United haven’t been in contact this season.

Speaking after the game in which he scored a spectacular volleyed effort, the Portuguese forward said:

“I still hope to return to Manchester United, but nobody from the club has spoken to me.”

A Bola claim that United representatives were in attendance to see his performance but with a year left on his contract he will need to impress to get a new deal having spent the last three season’s out injured and on loan.

But he believes he can continue his good form and seal a new deal saying,

“I am in good form and I hope to remain this way.”
