Moyes

David Moyes will be hoping the age old adage ‘there’s no smoke without fire’ proves false as news of his departure from Old Trafford dominates the back pages of tomorrow’s papers.

The footballing world exploded this afternoon with reports that the Scot was set to get the axe and whilst Manchester United denied he had been sacked they refused to confirm or deny that he was facing the boot.

The Telegraph‘s sport pullout, The Sun, The Times and The Daily Star are all running with The Sun and Daily Star both claiming Dutch manager Louis Van Gaal is set to take over whilst The Telegraph claims that Ryan Giggs and Nicky Butt will assume managerial duties until the end of the season.

His arrogance by sacking Phelan and Meulensen and installing 5th rate staff caused this.He brought it on himself.Fergie always had a number 2 who mostly kept him in tact.Moyes was too egotistical and insecure for that.
The sooner he goes the better.

well said, he tried to do too much in a short span of time inorder to succeed fergie and it have just cost him dearly.

He’s been clueless all the way. Clearly the United job was a too big challenge for Moyes. His eyes were bigger than his belly
