Having been sent on loan to FC Koln in January some of us thought that Zoran Tosic was on his way out of the club. Having made just 5 appearances since signing in January 2009 many claimed he was merely a sweetener for the Adem Ljajic deal that feel through this December.

If you have seen him you will know he is a player of obvious talent, his performances for Serbia are an indication of this but his slight frame would prove a problem if he was trying to make a name for himself on these shores. But if he can play like he played yesterday I think he could very well forge a career for himself at Old Trafford as in a 4-1 victory over Hannover, Tosic helped himself to a brace, both top draw goals.

1st one was a cracker. 2nd was not bad either. Good finishing. Will he make it at United though.

  2. Chudi Onwuazor says:

The run and finish for the 2nd were neat, it depends what capacity he is used.
Instead of a winger perhaps an AM?
Either way he will have a task to get himself into the team but I won’t discount him yet.

Runs a lot like Fabregas! His strength doesn’t matter as he has lots of pace and a natural balance about him. Man Utd quality? Certainly deserves a chance!

ya a great goal great finshed by tosic. could be the next david beckham. like beckham want out on loan to preston and came back stronger and better palyer. but i think is time is over at man united the way nani velencai possibly singing of ribery aor silva would push even more hpe not

Seeing that Valencia poses no goal-scoring threat, then he’d be a great option. Everybody keeps saying Valencia is great, but lately I feel he’s extremely impotent when attacking and his crossing is bad too. So if that continues, we should bring Tosic back sooner rather than later…

‘Valencia poses no goal-scoring threat’ Huh? Valencia has scored 7 goals this season. ‘ lately I feel he’s extremely impotent when attacking and his crossing is bad too’ Huh? He has 9 assists. Even Rooney has said this season is the best he has seen since he has arrived at the club, in terms of attacking service from the wings. That is some compliment, considering we had Ronaldo, who face it, great goalscorer but didn’t cross the ball. If it wasn’t for Valencia’s wing play, Rooney wouldn’t have scored as much. Tnt, you are the most clueless poster i’ve ever come across. You, sir, are a clown. Probably the only person who i’ve come across that is that negative about Valencia. Even non-United fans i know, like him a lot. You, sir, are a tool

Tnt, what the hell are you going on about??
Valencia (and Nani) are probably the two or at least in the top 5 most improved players in the premier league. with each game Valencia becomes more and more influential. don’t fall into the trap of seeing someone have one good game and think they should walk into the team, if we all thought like that we’d be shouting Kevin Phillips for England!!!!

Valenicia not a threat? I think he has been immense for us this year and one of the reasons we are where we are are! After Paddy Evra and of course Rooney I feel Tony V has been one of best players! His crosssing is quality, Rooney has certanly profited from him being there!

ya, tosic is looking good but valencia and nani are nice at z moment, about nani i can say a word…., and also z man with the good talent valencia, don’t compare valencia with ronaldo cuz ronaldo was a good scorrer but not a good crosser, valencia sores a few but make many gools with his brilliant cross, so why don’t we c it in there natural talent? he really are good, also nani are the most talented player in the premier league,
