Having already said he would like his loan at FC Koln to be made permanent, Zoran Tosic is now open to reviving his Manchester United career.

The Serbian winger has made just 5 first team appearances since joining the club last January and during this January’s transfer window made the temporary move to the German outfit.

In Germany Tosic has more than impressed scoring 5 times in 12 appearances and Koln have expressed an interest in making the deal permanent but Tosic’s latest words could derail any possible move.

Speaking to the b92 TV channel’s website Tosic said,

“I’ve spoken to Cologne’s officials and they told me they would like to see me wear the team’s shirt next season too, I feel great here but it remains to be seen what Manchester United will say because it’s up to them, I have a contract with the club and it’s their decision.

If United want me back I will be very happy to return but I don’t want to go back there and be in the same situation as last year, I want a more important role in the set-up. If that’s not what United want, then I will have a look at alternative options.”

guess the the real question is does SAF rate him enough to want him back, not whether he wants to

Very much so, I think he deserves a chance but it’s all down to SAF.
Having seen him in training he knows more than we do.

After Nani’s emergence, I don’t think Fergie can give him that important role he’s looking for. I think playing just 1 game would be a more important role for him though.

It’s a hard call, if he can only play on the wings, then there isn’t much room for regular appearances. But if he could develop into a world class talent, you simply can’t walk away from that. In any case, wait and see what he does at the World Cup. Whether or not we decide to keep him, his value will significantly rise if he puts on a good show.

I think SAF has missed a trick with Tosic just like he nearly did with Nani. Tosic has awesome skill and technique which would only get better (just like Nani) is given a few games and some confidence and freedom to go out on the pitch and express himself.

Fergie has become obsessed with the old guard hence the future talent is suffering big time.

Tosic Valencia Anderson Nani would be a fab midfield quartet With Roo and Macheda up top. Tosic would be much better than Valencia on the right – cutting in and scoring just like Messi!!!

Tosic will be a superstar sooner rather than later!!!

I dont think there has been any doubt (SAF included) about Torsic’s skills, techniques or play-making as a winger.

However, I reckon his most glaring weakness is his physical built which hinders all the mentioned attributes when he plays on the field.

What is with this obsession with physical strength! On that basis Messi would be no good in the EPL! What about Modric – he is only a tiny little thing but a great in EPL!!! What about Juninho he was awesome but again tiny????!!!!

At the very least he should be given an opportunity and if he can’t handle it in the EPL than fine – chuck him out but how can you right him off without at least giving him a chance!
