Manchester United legend Paddy Crerand has waded in on the Rooney fiasco. As in typical fashion the Scot has showed a fierce and fiery side in discussing Rooney as well as dealing with the radio host Ivan Yates.

Sir Alex would have been proud!

Wow this yates guy is some piece of work. How can he claim fergie is washed out?

Fergie/Man Utd have never stopped winning and to claim the Fergie era is over is a stretch…also to claim any single player is bigger than Sir Alex is preposterous.

    Let me prove this:
    – van Nistelrooy
    – Staam
    – Beckham
    – Keane

Also in the last 2 seasons:
    – EPL
    – 2 League Cups
    – 2 Community Shields
    – Fifa World Cup

If Fergie is all washed up what does that mean for the rest of the managers in the league. Not many have won more. Why doesn’t Yates sprout some crap about how Wenger’s days are over?

Paddy is a fucking legend and he was prepared to talk about the Rooney issue but unfortunately Yates is too much of a douche to stay on point.

Kudos to Paddy for putting up with him for so long.

Yates’s lack of impartiality can clearly be seen when he makes some very generalised comments about united fans at the end of his interview.

Yates you are truly a very special kind of muppet.
